🚌 Mobilidade

  • Free buses, trams and trains nationwide

  • Free train to 3 stations just across the border

Free travel normally ends at the border, but 2nd class train trips stay free to and from Athus (Belgium), Audun-le-Tiche and Volmerange-les-Mines (France). Beyond that, you need a cross-border ticket or pass (RegioZone for buses, international ticket for trains).

  • Vël'OK: 100% free bike sharing in the South

In 9 southern communes (Esch-sur-Alzette, Differdange, Dudelange, Bettembourg, Kayl, Mondercange, Rumelange, Sanem, Schifflange), Vël'OK bikes are free 24/7, for locals and visitors alike. Free mandatory registration (ID required), from age 14, max 2 hours per ride.
