The fake glamour of monetization: what nobody shows
Behind the revenue screenshots, the real creator job mostly looks like a lot of admin.
You know the format: a dashboard screenshot, a blurry but flattering figure, a caption like 'how I made this in my sleep'. The clip racks up millions of views but tells barely a tenth of the story.
What the screenshot leaves out
The raw number is revenue, not profit: strip out platform fees, gear, refunds, unpaid hours and taxes, and the 'dream salary' often deflates into a normal job, just lonelier.

In the Grand Duchy, where everyone compares purchasing power, these foreign screenshots ring even hollower: the genuinely solid creator isn't the one posting the biggest number, but the one who lasts — diversified income, clean books, VAT in order, and enough honesty to show the slow months too.
