Editorial charter

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Our editorial principles, published pursuant to Article 64 of the law of 8 June 2004:

Official embeds only - We only embed content published by its original creator or an official account; every embed is verified before publication (oEmbed check + visual review) and removed without delay upon notification to contact@banger.lu. We never re-host content.

Facts vs. comment - We clearly distinguish reported facts from our comments and opinions (Art. 6(2) of the law of 8 June 2004).

Protection of minors - We never publish information identifying a minor who has run away, been abandoned, been the victim of an offence or died by suicide (Art. 18); minors in our content are blurred or anonymised unless explicit parental authorisation exists.

Sources and accuracy - Every article cites its sources; quotations are short, consistent with fair practice, and credit the author and source (Art. 10 of the law of 18 April 2001). Reported errors are corrected promptly.

Commercial transparency - Sponsored content carries a non-removable badge; services owned by the editor (such as Ninou) are labelled as such (self-promotion), never presented as an independent recommendation.

Real metrics - Displayed reactions, votes and rankings are real data, never inflated or fabricated; view counts come from the original platforms.

Privacy - Public figures covered with a public-interest justification; private individuals never negatively targeted.
