Writing a short script that hooks from the first second
Three seconds to convince: here's how to structure a video that keeps people watching.
On short formats, you have very little time to make people want to stay. The first line must set a clear promise or a question that tickles curiosity.
A structure that works
Hook, then development around one or two ideas, then a closing that invites a reaction. Avoid saying everything at once: one video, one strong idea, is already plenty.
Write the way you speak, out loud, then reread to cut extra words. A short, natural script always sounds better than a perfect but stiff text.
