Today, tools can create very realistic images from a simple description. It's fascinating for creativity, but it complicates an important question: is what I'm seeing real? Keeping a critical eye becomes a basic skill.

The little signals

Some generated images leave strange details: weird hands, unreadable text, shadows that don't match, a warping background. These clues aren't always there, but they're worth looking for when something feels 'too perfect'.

The most important thing remains context. Where does the image come from? Who is sharing it? Is it picked up by reliable sources? An image alone proves nothing: its origin and its consistency with other information are what truly matter.

Stay curious, not paranoid

The goal isn't to doubt everything, but to keep a checking reflex for images that trigger a strong reaction. Taking a second to ask 'what if this was fabricated?' is often enough to avoid being manipulated.
