Cooking vs delivery: the real comparison
Delivery is tempting. But what really wins over time?
Food delivery is everywhere, and the idea of eating without lifting a finger is appealing. But between the easy order and homemade, each has its upsides. Worth knowing them so you choose with your eyes open.
What delivery gives you
The time saved and the zero effort are real, especially on a rushed night or a total no-motivation evening. It's also a chance to taste cuisines you couldn't make yourself. As a backup, it's genuinely handy.
What cooking changes
Making it yourself usually costs less, you control what's on the plate, and you gain a skill for life. Over time it's cheaper and often more filling. The sweet spot: cook on weekdays, treat yourself now and then.
There's no wrong answer: the point is balance. Delivery as a backup, cooking as the base, and everyone's happy.
