Handling exam stress without spiraling
Exam stress is tamed with method, not magic.
Before a test, your heart races and your mind runs everywhere. That's normal: your body is gearing up for effort. The problem is when that stress stops you thinking or sleeping.
Break it down instead of facing it all
A big syllabus is scary as one block. Cut it into small sessions with breaks, and check off what you know. Each small ticked step calms the panic and shows you're really moving forward.
On the day, breathe slowly before you start and read all the questions first. Begin with what you know to build confidence. You're not aiming for perfection, but for your best on that day.
If it becomes too heavy
If anxiety often blocks you, you're neither weak nor alone. A teacher, your school's support service, or a professional can help you find tools that fit. Asking for help is a strength.
