Online safety and respect: the good player's rules
Playing well also means behaving well and protecting yourself in chat.
Behind every username there's a real person. Match stress never justifies insults or threats. Staying calm in chat is the mark of a mature player, not a weak one.
Protect your personal info
Never share your address, full real name, school, or passwords, even with a "gaming buddy" you like. A username and a dedicated email address are all you need to play.
Use the block and report tools the moment a player harasses you. Cutting them off protects you immediately, and reporting helps keep the whole community healthy.
Speaking up is strong
If someone makes you uncomfortable or asks for weird things, tell a trusted adult. You've done nothing wrong: the problem is the toxic person, not you.
