Moving a little each day to feel better
No need to be an athlete: moving is good for your mind too.
We link sport with performance, but moving is first about feeling good. A walk, dancing in your room, a bike ride: it truly shifts your mood. Body and mind are more connected than we think.
Find what you enjoy
You don't have to love the gym to be active. Try several things until you find one you actually enjoy, alone or with friends. Movement that lasts is the kind that doesn't feel like a chore.
Aim for regularity over intensity. A few minutes often beats one big effort once a month. And in Luxembourg, trails and green spaces are plentiful for getting started outdoors.
Listen to your body
Moving should feel good, not hurt. If you feel pain that persists, don't push through it and ask a health professional for advice. Your body deserves respect, not to be ignored.
