Comparison and mood: the dark side of perfect feeds

Why overly perfect feeds can drag your mood down, and how to protect yourself.

Feeds overflow with lives that look perfect: trips, bodies, successes. The trap is comparing your whole life to these cherry-picked moments. What you see is never the full story.

The behind-the-scenes never show

Behind a perfect photo, there are dozens of flops, edits, hidden bad days. Nobody posts their ordinary moments. Keep that in mind with every scroll.

Taking back control

Follow accounts that make you feel good, cut those that pull you down. And remember your worth isn't measured in likes. A kind feed means a protected mood.

If comparison becomes heavy and stops you feeling okay, talk to someone you trust or a professional. Asking for help is a sign of strength, never weakness.
