Your first interview: how to prepare without panicking
A few simple reflexes to walk into an interview with confidence.
An interview isn't an interrogation. It's just a conversation to see if you and the job fit. If you arrive prepared and honest, you've already done the most important part. The rest is attitude.
Do a little homework
Know where you're going, at what time, and what the place hosting you does. Prepare two or three things to say about yourself and why you want the job. It avoids awkward silences and shows you're motivated.
Be yourself, politely
No need to play a role. Be polite, smile, listen to the question before answering. To prepare your steps on the youth side in Luxembourg, rely on official resources rather than dubious tricks.
If you don't know how to answer a question, that's fine: stay honest rather than making things up. And even if it doesn't work this time, every interview makes you better for the next.
