Reporting shocking content: a how-to

On almost every platform, you can report content that's a problem: harassment, scams, shocking images, fake accounts. Reporting is usually anonymous to the person you report, so no fear of direct payback.

How to report well

Look for the three dots or the menu icon on the post, then choose the report option and the most accurate reason. A well-categorised report gets handled faster and more effectively.

Before reporting, take a screenshot, especially if the content targets you or someone close. Once removed, the content can vanish, but your evidence stays valuable if you need to raise it later.

For truly serious or illegal content, there are also dedicated reporting points in Luxembourg. They guide you and pass things on to the right people. Reporting protects others as much as it protects you.
