Selling a service instead of an object: monetising what you can do
Your skills sometimes matter more than what's in your closet.
We often think of selling objects to make money, but you can also sell what you know how to do. A helping hand, regular help, a small useful skill: it has value, even if you don't realise it.
Identify what you're good at
List what you do well and what others dislike doing or don't know how to do. Often, what feels obvious to you is precious to someone else. That's where a small opportunity hides.
Stay serious and safe
Providing a service requires reliability and a clear frame. Depending on your age, check what's allowed with official youth sources in Luxembourg, and always favour safe situations.
Selling a service also teaches you to present yourself, honour a commitment and get paid fairly. Those are foundations that will stay with you long after your first small income.
