Ditching multitasking to get your focus back
Doing ten things at once means half-doing all of them.
Revising while answering messages and watching a video feels efficient. In reality, your brain jumps from thing to thing and tires fast. You retain less and take much longer.
One thing at a time
Pick one task, put your phone far away and set a timer for a short block. During that time you do only that, then take a real break. This full focus tires you less and delivers far more.
Turn off the notifications that pull you off task every two minutes. Each interruption costs you time to refocus. Protecting your attention protects your energy.
If you really can't manage
If focusing stays very hard despite your efforts, it isn't necessarily a lack of willpower. Talk to a trusted adult or a professional who can point you in the right direction. There are approaches that can fit you.
