Making your own is fun and cheap, but not everything can be improvised in the kitchen. Some recipes seen online are more risky than useful for the skin.

Keep it very simple

A gentle moisturising mask, a cosy vibe with some music, a moment to unwind: the DIY that feels good stays basic and free of harsh ingredients.

What you don't improvise

Avoid citrus mixes, baking soda or household products on the skin: these viral recipes can irritate. When in doubt, a tested store-bought product stays safer.
