Managing rage: staying calm when things go south
In-game anger makes you lose twice: the match and the fun.
Everyone knows that moment when the match falls apart and you start to boil. That's human. The problem is that anger makes you play even worse and ruins your night.
Spotting the signs before you blow up
Learn to feel the tension rising: you grip the controller, you curse at the screen, you blame others. Those are signals. At that point, the best call is often to take a real break.
Drink some water, walk a bit, breathe slowly. A few minutes away from the screen is often enough to let the pressure drop and come back clearer.
Anger has no place in chat
Dumping your rage on other players relieves nothing and hurts real people. If you feel yourself about to snap, mute the mic instead of throwing out insults you'll regret.
