A tiny indoor garden even in a small bedroom
A few pots on the windowsill and your room already breathes better.
Growing plants at home needs neither a garden nor a huge budget. A bright windowsill and two or three pots are enough to transform your space and keep your hands busy.
Pick forgiving plants
To start, aim for tough plants that tolerate a missed watering. Easy kitchen herbs or forgiving leafy plants will give you results without discouraging you.
Check before you water
The classic beginner mistake is overwatering. Touch the soil: if it's still damp, wait. A plant usually prefers being a little thirsty over having drowned roots.
