Social media pressure: stop comparing yourself to everyone
What you see online is an edit, not real life.
As you scroll, you see perfect lives, perfect bodies, dream trips. Your brain compares that to your ordinary day and makes you feel behind. Except you're comparing a highlight reel to raw reality.
Take back control of your feed
You can shape what you see: mute or unfollow accounts that make you feel worthless. Follow instead content that inspires you or makes you smile. Your feed should feed you, not drain you.
Remember nobody posts their struggles, doubts or grey days. Behind every polished photo is a real person as imperfect as you. Your worth isn't measured in likes.
If it truly hurts you
If these comparisons damage your self-image to the point of pain, take it seriously. Talk to a trusted adult or a professional. You're worth far more than an image on a screen.
