Improving without pulling all-nighters: smart practice

It's not the number of hours that counts, but the quality of your practice.

People often think you need to play hour after hour to get good. In reality, it's the quality of your practice that counts, not just the quantity. Practising well a little beats practising badly a lot.

One goal per session

Set a specific goal before you play: work on your aim, improve your positioning, communicate better. A clear aim makes every match useful instead of grinding mindlessly.

Take regular breaks. The brain learns better when it rests between efforts, and your eyes will thank you. A short, focused session beats an exhausting all-nighter.

Measuring your progress

Track your improvements, even small ones. Seeing that you're progressing motivates you and shows your method works. The joy of feeling yourself improve beats a thousand wins scraped out of exhaustion.
