Staying hydrated: why it changes everything
Drinking water regularly, the simplest move to feel better.
Water is the quiet fuel of your body and brain. When you don't drink enough, you often feel tired, less focused, sometimes with a headache. The good news is the habit is easy to build.
Keep a bottle within reach
The most effective method is silly: keep water in plain sight. A reusable bottle on your desk or in your bag reminds you to drink without thinking. What you see, you do.
Drink more when you move
As soon as you exercise or it's hot, your body needs more water. Drink before, during and after your session, in small sips. Tap water does the job perfectly and costs almost nothing.
Listen to your thirst, it's your best everyday signal. If you're often very thirsty for no reason or have other worrying symptoms, talk to a doctor. Otherwise, plain water stays the best drink.
