Having little money should never stop you from going out. Quite the opposite: constraints often make you more creative. With a few reflexes, you can fill your month with outings without blowing your budget.

Betting on what's already free

Start with everything that costs nothing: parks, walks, museums that are free for young people, libraries. Free transport takes you everywhere at no cost. By stacking these plans, you already fill a good chunk of your free time.

Smart little spending

When you do spend, do it smartly. A homemade picnic costs far less than a restaurant and tastes great in a park with a view. Splitting costs among friends also divides the bill. The point isn't to deny yourself everything, but to choose where you put your money.

The real luxury isn't spending a lot - it's having a good time. With a bit of organisation, a small budget becomes more than enough for a full social life.
