Cyberbullying: reacting without going it alone
Against online bullying, silence is never the best option.
Cyberbullying is repeated messages, mockery or rumors that hurt. It can happen to anyone, and it's never the fault of the person targeted. The first step is understanding you don't have to handle this alone.
Keep evidence
Take screenshots of the messages before you block: they can serve as proof. Block and report the accounts on the platform. Don't answer the provocation, that's often exactly what the aggressor wants.
Talk to someone
Talk to a trusted adult, someone close, or a professional: speaking up isn't weakness, it's taking back power. In Luxembourg, listening and support services exist for exactly this. If you see someone being bullied, your support can change everything.
