In the morning, between the alarm that rings too early and the bus you can't miss, breakfast often gets skipped. Yet a real start to the day helps you stay focused in class instead of daydreaming about lunch.

Options ready in a flash

Prep overnight oats in the fridge with fruit and a bit of yoghurt. Or keep fruit, nuts and wholegrain bread within reach. The idea: a mix of starch, fruit and a little protein to carry you through the morning.

The grab-and-go kit trick

If you're really in a rush, pack a small bag the night before: a banana, a handful of almonds, a small water bottle. You eat on the bus or between classes. Better than an empty stomach until noon.

Listen to your body: some mornings you're hungrier than others, that's normal. The point is not to head out on empty every single day.
