Security settings: a tour of your accounts

You create an account, rush off, and never reopen the settings. Yet that's where you decide who sees what. Going through your settings means taking back control of your online presence.

Who sees your posts?

Check whether your profile is public or private, and who can contact or tag you. Turn off geolocation on your posts if you don't want to reveal where you are. These settings often change after an update, so review them now and then.

Connected apps

Look at the list of apps and sites you've granted access to with your account. Remove anything you no longer use: each access is a potential door. A regular cleanup shrinks your attack surface.
